He started Naqood in 2023 after seeing how the introduction of UAE Corporate Tax changed the game for founders. For the first time, companies of all sizes, including early-stage startups and small businesses, needed proper bookkeeping and cleaner financial systems not just for reporting, but for survival and growth.
Today, Christian writes about accounting, corporate tax, VAT , finance operations, and startup finance in the UAE, with a focus on making complex finance topics practical for founders and operators.

Why Christian built Naqood
When UAE Corporate Tax was introduced, many founders discovered a problem they had ignored for too long.
They did not just need an accountant. They needed a simple finance system that could help them stay compliant without slowing down the business.
Most tools in the market were either too complex, too expensive, built for accountants instead of founders, or not adapted to the realities of running a business in the UAE.
Naqood was built to solve that. The goal was simple: make accounting and compliance easier for founders in the UAE.
