A new year is underway, and January has already been a busy month at Naqood. We’ve shipped several highly requested features and improvements, many of them directly based on your feedback. Thank you for continuously helping us shape the product.

Here’s what’s new in January 2026.

📊 Prepaid Expense Module

You can now manage prepaid expenses directly in Naqood and automatically spread costs over time instead of booking them all at once.

💼 Payroll Enhancements

Payroll continues to improve with several useful updates.

You can now download WPS files directly per payslip, which is especially useful when issuing individual payslips instead of full payroll runs.

We’ve also added support for multi-currency payslips, allowing you to issue a payslip in one currency and pay it in another.

💸 Overpaid Status

Invoices and payments now clearly show an Overpaid status, making it easier to track and handle excess payments without confusion.

🧾 Invoice Line Item Improvements

This was requested by many of you, and we listened.

You can now change the sorting order of line items, add SKU or product codes to invoice lines, and hide discounts and other optional fields for a cleaner invoice layout.

🏛️ FAF Report for FTA Accreditation

We’ve added a new report type called FAF, designed to support FTA accreditation requirements. More details os this later.

🖨️ Branding on Reports

You can now add your company logo, stamp, and footer to exported reports for a more professional and branded appearance.

🔌 Improved API Documentation

We’ve expanded and improved our API documentation to make integrations and development easier
